The mini-arc gave me an excuse to not write this comic until now, but I knew it was coming.

Okay, so I'm not totally against Spider-Man being in the Avenger movies, but I liked the Amazing movies and I also haven't been impressed with how Spider-Man is used in Avengers comics. I'm hoping the movies will work out better for him, but it just doesn't seem like the people who write Avengers (at least the ones with him in them) know how to write him. They put him off in the background making one-liners. Okay, he is a funny superhero (that's one of the reasons I like him), but that's not what he's all about.
Give him something smart to do.
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for more Spider-Man movies, but I'm not as thrilled about this as others are.
