Despite my misgivings about Jurassic World being a cash grab on one of my favorite author's properties, I actually enjoyed Jurassic World…for the most part. Rather than being a cash grab like Jurassic Park 3 (which they couldn't be arsed to wait for Crichton's input), Jurassic World actually did a decent job of paying tribute to the late author's work…or at least the first movie, which he did help on.
But I'm just a rambling nerd. It's a fun movie. Better than 2 and 3, but not as good as 1. It's more of a giant monster movie in the vein of Godzilla than it is a Jurassic Park.
