1038. Spider-Man the Insomniac

I'm with Spider-Man. It's a good game, but I wouldn't say it was GREAT. I think had I played it when it first came out I would've loved it, but I can't stand Maguire's Spider-Man voice (though Maguire was a decent enough Spider-Man), it didn't age well, and I've had more fun with other Spider-Man games like Web of Shadow. That being said, it did wonders for the Spider-Man franchise introducing sandbox to the series. What was built on it was great.

And I know everyone will cite the fact that web swinging is the best in that game. Okay, fine…I'll give you that, but that's not the only thing I want out of a Spider-Man game. That's like saying the only reason I like Arkham City better than Arkham Asylum is that the gliding is better. That's ONE of the reasons I like City better, but that's not the main reason. Personally, I've seen other Spider-Man games do other aspsects better like the fighting mechanics or story, humor, and acting. I guess I just care about those things more than web swinging.
