1260. Cyber Sleuth

The first one was a lot of fun. I bought it because I was feeling nostalgic for Digimon and honestly, I’m glad it was that and not another type of Digimon game. I bought Digimon World: Next Order and never played it. I tried the first few minutes, hated the combat system, and turned it off. With Cyber Sleuth, though, I played the whole game. It brought me back to appreciating JRPGs again. Anyone who knows my comics knows I love Chrono Trigger, but I haven’t finished very many JRPGs. (And only finished a couple of Pokemon games, actually. Blue and Yellow, which I played numerous times, and Gold. I’ve played others, but haven’t beaten them.) Disappointed with Next Order, I bought Persona 5 on a recommendation from a GameStop employee and found a similar game. Persona 5 is now one of my all-time favorite RPGs…Japanese or American. And I have the original Cyber Sleuth to thank for that.Well…that and having a fun Digimon game. It did that, too. Cyber Sleuth 1 is one of my favorite JPRGs now, too.

No idea when I’m actually getting to it. I’m playing through AC: Syndicate now and will probably jump into AC: Origins afterwards. Probably after AC: Origins.
