I haven't run into a mainstream Star Wars movie that I've actually hated or disliked. Sure, I don't like the prequel movies as much as the originals or the sequels, but I don't hate or dislike them. I feel like Star Wars fans will hate anything Star Wars until they reach the nostalgia point for it.

As for ticket sales, I don't know if I'm right or not on that. I just know getting Endgame tickets was a headache and getting The Rise of Skywalker tickets was a breeze. Of course that's Avengers vs Star Wars, but I seem to remember everything prior to Solo (which is all of Disney era, I realize) being really popular when I went to preoder tickets.

I guess it doesn't matter to me. I just want a good Star Wars movie and I want it to do well enough for more Star Wars movies to be produced. People are going to hate. I mean…Last Jedi was not near one of my favorite Star Wars movies (I'd put it mid-tier. Lesser than the originals plus The Force Awakens, but better than the prequels. Not sure how I feel about Rogue One and Solo compared to Last Jedi as I've only seen them a couple of times and my opinions may have changed.)
