So, I had this comic written early on (and it was inspired by one of my favorite episodes of 30 Rock) and then the same day I went to make the comic (the Thursday before it went up), I heard a funny story from my coworkers that I could've rewritten into a comic about Ash Wednesday. I decided not write it since I had this comic written for a day that comes once every four years versus one that happens every year.

In case you're wondering, my coworker approaches my supervisor to ask him a question and my SV (I couldn't tell by the story whether he was serious or joking in the story) said, "Before you continue, do you know you have something right here?" and points to the ashes on her forehead. I actually didn't know what Ash Wednesday was until last year when a different coworker explained it.

Oh well…I think this is better.
