Looking for someone (song)
Locoma on(sorry about the delay, my internet connection was down)
Thanks for sharing your interpretations :D :D I'll reply them while telling you more about this past story:
Usedbooks said "it's like visual poetry". She's quite on the mark there because the text for this story is actually the lyrics of a song called "Looking for someone" by Genesis (one of the earlier songs). It is in fact that song's tunes that inspired the contrast between the dark, cold subway and the cheerier outdoors I tried to create. I used the song's moods to express something that had been puzzling me at the time I wrote this, which is a mix of Darrell's and Smkinoshita's interpretations: the loss of a loved one, but regret at the same time. Let me explain: I really miss this person I've lost, I just don't miss that time in my life. Which is weird since that person was part of that time… and yes! Ghostrunner the ending has a spooky shot because that dark place represents that past I don't miss :D And thanks Tantz for your encouragement too.
Sorry if this seemed a bit of a downer :P
Next week I'm posting acrylics and then we'll start off with a new story that has nothing to do with regret, just something silly that happened to me at my current office job.
Oh and congrats to all of you who won awards, last night I read the whole thing and I'm impressed by the really cool presentations I've seen.
