Ack. >_< That first panel is very misleading. No, nothing glass broke, that's just the sound of the metal cradle falling over. Sorry…

So, why did the cradle fall over? Why did the thief take (not assassinate) the baby? How does the thief manage to climb down a steep mountain with a crying baby in tow??

Sorry, none of that is going to explained. :P At least, not for a while, and not in this prologue.
