Ahhhh, there she is…. there she is! And not so wounded as we were let to believe. So much the better.

I know you're out there, even if you aren't talking, folks. I can hear the heavy breathing. But seriously, this is yet another of the characters we will be meeting along the way. Her species on D'Gaeriya is felinoid (*GASP!* A FURRY!!!11ONE!!11!), and as the title on the picture says, her name is Odessa. I thought it might be kinda fun to have a character on the team who is the pure comic relief, and I mean this in the strongest sense of the term. Odessa is, well… she's a walking disaster area. To top that off, she is a Psycho-Esper.

Now, for those of you not yet in the know yet (which is about 99.99999…% of you), the Psycho-Esper "class" (if you will) replaces "Mages" and "Sages" and such in the world of Peppermint Saga. Quite simply, all of the activities normally associated with magic in traditional fantasy are attributed to powers of the mind in the Saga. I did this for a couple reasons: 1) I am a sci-fi AND fantasy buff of sorts and 2) I wanted to be just a wee bit different. Hell, if you're gonna go down a trail that has been trod before, you may as well go for broke, eh? So yeah. She and all that share that title are psychics. So don't be shocked if I use the little "energy" mark that Marvel Comics always uses when they draw Psylocke, Professor X or Jean Grey doing cool shit with their powers. Personally, I can't wait until the third story arc so you all can meet her. Oh, I forgot to mention: her "hook" is that she has a strange… I guess you could say "habit" that she does right after she gets off. I won't say more because it'll spoil the surprise. (and the funny)

Lastly, I have to ask the question: does it strike you as being to my benefit, or to my detriment that I was actually concerned about exactly how much bush would be offensive to y'all readers on a furry?
