And here it is! The fourth page of "The Sword of Truth"! Well, sorta. I spent a lot of time dicking around on this one because I couldn't decide how I wanted the action pose to look in the first panel. That took me until about oh, 8PM in the evening to figure out. Then, by the sheerest stroke of luck, I hit on exactly what I wanted by drawing a side-by-side next to these Pouser tracing models I bought to go with my copy of Manga Studio Debut (A must for panel layouts. I love this shit…) Now me personally? I HAVE Illustrator CS2, so I don't need Manga Studio EX (vector tracing is the SHIT. Seriously.) but I love the printing guides, and I already use Deleter A4/B5 comicing paper. So it's serendipity, baby! Now, as I have said before: I am all about photoreferencing, but I abhorr tracing. So one might ask in all this meandering, why in the FUCK would Mace buy tracing models? Well, sometimes Google Image Search just doesn't get me the pose I want. So I photoreference something that isn't a photo. Yeah, I am a fucking kook.

BUT I DIGRESS.

Long story short (too late): I was supposed to get this page to Semira ages ago, I didn't, it's quarter after 4 here in Tucson, and thus it is quarter after SIX in her neck of the woods. Translation: here's your placeholder version until I am finally able to get this baby into her hot little hands for shading/coloring magic. But I was so excited by the final results of my inking (which in spite of vector tracing, I still do the hard way, traditionally) and vectoring, I felt it was a shame to make you all wait for the update. SO! Expect the final version either much later tonight, or Friday. But, in the interim, here's a semi-final page with correct dialog so we can keep the story moving. :) Just imagine that the ghosty guy is glowie blue and the rest is dark and spooky as previously seen. ^^

Until next week, and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow…

~Peace

EDIT: If the ghost guy is blue, you are now seeing the corrected page. Cheers! (Press and hold CTRL + Reload on your browser. Drunk Duck's updating is kinda sluggish unless you do that. Stupid frames/CSS…)
