Those vampires should have hurried or at least attacked in the dust not dawn. There is a reason why vampires don't have a suntan. Now on to explain something more about Lillithias. When they are high in the evolution/nobility ladder they will show a human form. But they have also evolved others to be the muscle(the brute in the last panel), the infantry(flying gray ones seen before), and the servants(tiny but smarter than the brute).
