It seems I have been doing my job right after all, I was starting to get somewhat afraid you weren't getting it. The purpose of Per Ardua, unlike Distant Embrace is to focus heavily on the villains of the story, the Nephilim, so that in a weird kind of way you get to sympathize with them. This of course leads to the reader feeling confused about liking the character because after all, we are always supposed to root against the villains; however, based on your comments on the last page it seems I accomplished that purpose, phew…So yeah, liking Kodicia is a guilty pleasure ;)
Here basically Kodicia throws Uriah against the wall using a concrete wave but lets him live so that he may tell about the kidnapping of the King, since it seems Uriah is now the only survivor.
Oh btw, what's up with the avatar? For some reason I can't seem to change mine. Already tried various times and nothing, unless it was censored since its a vampire biting a girls neck, nice huh? Anyway, in case you didn't notice, for better or for worse, I am now responding to comments, after all I do have a fast connection now so that should be fun…at least for me ;). Thank you very much for commenting and reading this comic. So see you later and take care.
