Some close-ups so you get a perspective of Haven, and yes that woman is the same one that appears in the banner and believe me she plays a huge role in the story.
I was somewhat reluctant of using a character that could cause nightmares by using his eyes since many other manga such as HunterXHunter, Get Backers, and Naruto have stepped into this territory; however, I am doing this comic for fun and for me such a technique is fun to draw, plus there is a lot of room for originality. In the case of the King his nightmares are old age, chaos, death, and sickness. Oh yeah, the dragon's seal in the 1st panel is the one for Joash, but I still haven't shown where it is on its body.
To not make it sound like my trip was too negative I shall share the good parts now with your permission. First of all the trip provided many diverse experiences since I visited two cities and tens of small towns. In fact it was in a small town in the middle of nowhere that I actually tasted the best moka so far. Being in Guadalajara, the capital of my state, was awesome. Teenagers there have the best fashions, which really gave me a lot of drawing material. I like the environment there because they all strive to look different not similar like in my hometown, some even have hairstyles you won't see in magazines or your next door punkish neighbor. One of these days I will open a deviantart account since I have many interesting photos such as mini tornadoes, a valley filled with black rocks, a lake in the middle of a valley which is then surrounded by a plain, one of these days I'll do it, one of these days…which of course means withing the next 5 years ;)
