Ammonia + hydrochloric acid = ammonium chloride // If you never stepped in a lab and/or saw a youtube video of this happening, ammonium chloride is a light powder that will go absolutely everywhere once it's formed. I had difficult moments with this one in my practical classes, since this little bugger thought it was fun to cloud my glasses when I was with a very strong acid solution in my hands. // This video shows basically what happened with Nene (the girl in the strip): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xgCgBNJeKE // Notice that the freaking ammonium chloride is formed when their VAPOURS come in contact. This "white smoke" from the acid is the chloride, not acid.
