Open, stupid acid flask

Sorry for you engineers out there, but when I helped in practical classes, all my Engineering freshmen classes were troublesome. The problem is that, while some of the freshmen liked Chemistry, most of them were bored and never payed much attention to the exposition about the chemicals and procedures. Chemistry and Pharmacy freshmen usually drink the explanations like fine wine and give us less trouble.And yes, I once saw a Mines Engineering freshman trying to loose the lid of a flask of hydrochloric acid with his teeth.
