Ok, I know I promised I would eventually talk about Ai, and this actually seems like a good place to do it.

Do you all remember how in Persona 3 FTW Aigis was the MC's lover and Shinji was the FeMC's lover?

Well…in Persona 4TW…ORIGINALLY Ai was going to be the main lover.

Yes, it's true. I seriously weighed that option until around the 11th hour. The reason for this was because Ai is really the only link you have a lovers option for that actually differs a pretty fair deal between the friends path and the lovers path.

It's not just the final scene is a bit different or a few lines of dialogue change. Her link is really separated depending on which path you take, and so I seriously considered letting him take the lovers path with her.

I ended up changing my mind because while I liked the idea of it, and it would certainly be a cinderella story coming out of nowhere, I just thought it'd be better to stick with one of the party member girls.
