Long before the game actually came out, I knew I would do a comic where I had Teddie address that his voice was different, but without proper context, I wasn't sure how I was going to do it. The original joke was he was going to be in the TV world when its all peaceful, having a picnic with himself (literally, I was going to have him in his Alice costume sitting on the blanket talking to his empty bear suit) and when he opened his mouth a blue butterfly was going to fly down his throat before he could say anything.
While I did like the joke, it doesn't work with the context of the game itself, so this is basically Plan B.
