Okay, this is sort of a jerk move on the games part, but luckilly, you guys have this comic (or any walkthrough…) to use for reference on what to do in this scene.
Two treasure chests: One contains a mirror shard, the other is empty (and I think locks someones Persona ability, I can't remember)
Pick the one on the left.
