Something I did like in Persona 1 (and I think 2 had this too, actually) is that certain Persona will interact with certain demons, and they usually put some thought into how it goes. For example, since in mythology, Gdon was Durga's loyal steed, it makes sense that Yukino's Ultimate Persona would be able to get the demon to obey her.
It also lets me find creative ways to actually use the Persona in comics rather than just summoning them to help kill stuff.
