Elly is one of (In fact possibly the only) character whose ultimate Persona changed between games. Here in Persona 1, it's Michael, but in Persona 2, it became Gabriel (who by the way has an AWESOME design if you guys haven't seen it)
Which makes sense, I suppose. Much like Durga interacting with Gdon, Michael has a good relationship with all of the angel demons you can encounter in the game.
