(^O^) Sorry for the light in this one… I had to move way over to the left to get this shot, and not have the pile of trash and what not, that is behind this in the shot…

This is called "ishidourou" Ishi means stone, tourou (in this case change the t to a d) means lantern, or light. Ishidourous' have no religious meanings, as these things can be seen all over Japan. Homes, jobs, govenment buildings, shrines, the list goes on!! have them. and yes they are top heavy, earthquakes knock these things over like nothing!
