Page Description:
At First Rasovich is watching the Admiral’s boat coming over from the flagship Majesty. Then it’s back into the tower for Pinky and the Captain. Pinky thinks she spots Cc in the passage. And then they’re in the briefing with the admiral and some very officious people, talking about attacking merchant shipping… hey, it never bothered the Kriegsmarine…

Commentary:
In this page I had a real chance to showcase their costumes/uniforms. Those took a lot of thinking about to come up with good looking designs. I was rather happy with them too, especially Pinky’s Crimson coat!
The top right panel with Pinky and the Captain entering the passage was originally a full size colour pencil coloured inked and framed picture. It was even displayed in an art show once… So of course I had to scan it and include it in the page.
Negatives: That ship must be a vampire! It has no shadow… Well no shadow on the water that is. I think I did that sort of thing a lot then, but now I draw reflection AND shadow on the sea. The viewpoint in the first panel is too high! The perspective on the back wall in the bottom panel is wrong too.
