Ummm, what’s happening here?
A French battleship has caught them sleeping, so they’re just shooting back in the general direction, all panicy and madly ^^

Man this was a lazy page! Sort of…
You see, I’d drawn the page after this one, and in doing so I’d spent a LOT of time drawing this tiny little panel here with the firing guns. I’d tried to get the perspective on the turned turrets just right, I’d ruled up ALL the decking, put on all the rivets etc, only to realise that it would be virtually all covered up by fire and smoke!
That pissed me off. So I just decided to cut it out and use it at its actual size as a whole page, so I wouldn’t waste all that work. I thought I could justify that by having this page establish the ferocity and size of the guns and the desperate nature of the situation. I reckon it all worked out in the end.

A note:
I've decided to upload one page a day until I catch up with the main site. Just because I like to write about these pages and it's really hard to do that when I upload 10 at a go, (which I hate doing). Meanwhile, if you want to see the latest, just click the “Main site” link.
