The NEW writer’s challenge is for the hilarious Slither and friends. Post your fan-fic entries here!

Page description:
It’s the early morning when the day is just starting, about 5am. Cc is taking advantage of the turmoil on the edge of the city to slip in and blend with the crowd. She catches a lit on a goods cart and hops of when she judges she’s near the palace. The guard passes the cart through because fresh fruit doesn’t last well and he doesn’t see any harm in a simple old fruit peddler and a rather traditional religious woman.

Commentary:
ARGH, my kneeeees hurt so much right now… I must have arthritis or something…
Anyway. This page is a real shit compared to the previous one. It just doesn’t compare. The aerial view of the city is nice though, that took some thinking… As far as I know, there is no Mosque like that in Tunis. Sometimes when you want things to look good you have to make them up. –ALL the time in my case. The minarets are in the Tunisian style though. Interestingly the mosques Tunis is famous for are of the really OLD style, not the ones that just imitate the old Romanesque Christian churches like this one, (the typical Hagia Sophia model). I spent way too long on the boring page, especially the cityscape. Cc’s crouching form was a nightmare! It’s all wrong. If she wasn’t in that fucking robe it could have faked it a bit easier…. Ah well.
Just a note: Muslim women in Tunisia aren’t that strict. Not many would wear what Cc has on, not in the 1920’s.
More mistakes… that cart doesn’t really have enough wheel spokes.

Writer's challenge!
The Pinky TA fan-fics that were done as part of the writer’s challenge were brilliant! Read them ^_^

A note:
Go to my main site for the latest work (10th February, 2006). I’m uploading one page a day with commentary and explanations here.
