Cc is sneaking about inside the palace, while the French Governor tells the Bey what's what! The Governor believes Pinky's attack at Matmata is part of an uprising by the native people. The French occupation fears attack by the Crimeans, and they don't want to have to deal with native unrest at the same time, so they've set up a series of concentration camps… Cc whips of her clumsy robes, opens a door and comes upon…

Commentary:
Coming to the end of the updates… It’s so sad. I think I’ll skip tomorrow’s update and update on Monday instead. The old ruler of Tunisia was called a Bey, the coat he’s wearing there is based directly on the real one they used to wear (for the past 200 years or so). His bespectacled visage is roughly based on a friend of mine. Cc’s face there looked a lot better in grey, that’s why her colouring is minimal. I’m glad I made her get rid of the chador here, drawing her as an ill-defined shape isn’t that fun or easy. That big vase thin in panel 2 looks too flat to me.
