Commentary:
Well, well well! Almost on time this time, Katch had a much bigger part in this page too, you can really see all of the parts working nicely together here, Aurora's panels are cool too! Actually this would have been done on time on Wednesday, I even cracked the whip on Katch to get her going so it'd all be done…
BUT, on the Wednesday I'd only had 2 and a half hours sleep. And when I got home I had to have a business meeting about some web-design I'll be doing… And the NEXT day my massive new Cintiq 21UX tablet came. Well you know I just HAD to have a little play with that.

This is the continuation of my collab project with Katch and now with Aurora Moon too!

-Let me tell you something about those screen tablets though if you're thinking about getting one: so far I've only had it two days, but it's not blowing me away really. My 24 inch Samsung monitor has a better image, my almost 7 year old USB 12x12 Intuos1 tablet had the same pressure sensitivity, and after using it for so long I have zero disconnect between drawing on a tablet and seeing something on a screen, the other thing is that your hand covers a lot of the tools you select on screen as well as the image. The best things so far are the bigger size, the fact it replaces my second monitor, the nifty buttons that the Intuos 1 didn't have (unlike the Intuos 3), and the adjustable stand. All in all though the Cintq is a bit of a digi artist status symbol I think… I'll undoubtedly grow more accustomed to it, but while it's certainly an excellent bit of gear I think the people who will benefit MOST are artists who're just getting in to digital work, or those that still do more stuff with conventional media. If you're already pretty masterful with a tablet, you don't need a pen display model. It does look cool and I do look forward to getting used to it though
