I'm thinking about suing Wikimedia for linking to a virus, discuss.

Yesterday was a shit hole of a day, my computer died late last night.

Here's my story as I wrote it at a forum I'm currently in :o (No linkage unless I get hired. Lawlz.)

Today I came across a new article on Wikipedia, it was about keylogging.

This type of "keying" was unknown to me, so… I got frantic, and read about it… In the end, I thought, "I need to protect myself from this!" So, luckily for me, Wikipedia linked to several.

I had downloaded all 5. After Keyscrambler installed, it needed to restart my computer; I said "No," figuring the other 4 would need it, too. Installing the second one, (which I forget what is) the normal shit happened. Webroot told me something was installing itself, all was of the best. Then it happened. It hit 98% and my computer crashed. Don't know what was up, I let it restart. And restart. And restart a 45th time. Every time I booted up, it crashed. Obviously, one of these "Anti-Keyloggers" are actually viruses.

I spent the next 6 hours removing everything I installed the past 3 days. :( As far as I know, I only lost 3 Font Programs. I hope that was all. Still have the installers, though. Probably lost my Divx update, though :(

I'm this close (" ") to suing Wikimedia, I'm pretty sure it is against the law to link to sites that can harm another person's property.
