Lies were lied by Lee who we will refer to as Lee the Lying Liar Who Lies about the lying organization that he was previously lying lies In, thus keeping his loyalty to the lying liars of the organization that lies, which includes Lee.

So, Lee lied about Mewtwo (the first letter of Mewtwo is M which comes after L!), so he kept his loyalty (another L word!).
