HeartfeltSins onAnd here we are, getting ever closer to the main climax of the first chapter, even if it is named "Chapter Zero". Whatever. ^_^ That being said, I'm actually really excited about this webcomic, since it's the first time that I've attempted drawing a doujin that I've been interested in past eight pages of drawing it. I normally give up, lose interest, whatever. But… I didn't, so I'm even more excited about it. X3 I guess reading awesome webcomics based in the Pokemon world, as well as the idea of playing the newly Japanese release of Pokemon: Black and Pokemon: White. Then again, maybe I'm just excitable.
And now that I've been thinking about Poke-games, I just remembered that my friend still has my DS AND my HeartGold game… I is sad a little now. At least I have this comic to make me smile if I need a Pokemon to keep me company.
Now… what to say about this page… I have to admit that I didn't work entirely too hard on this page. I didn't feel like I had to, since half of the panels were blank with words in them or had straight lines, creating a white object (IE- the DS). The hardest part of the page? Angeal's pajama pants… When I had first sketched out the image, I was thinking about just keeping her in her work clothes. But, then I thought, I would change out of them the moment I got home, and I know that more people than me think horrid thoughts of their uniforms. So… I ended up changing them. After that thought, I couldn't help thinking that Angeal, a person who played the Pokemon games out of boredom mostly, probably still had some sleep pants from when she was an avid fan. That was the reasoning to those. Why I chose Pikachu? Beats me. It was an easy design to manipulate, and I think I remembered Spencers/Hot Topic selling something like them long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away… Y'know, back when the brand was popular and everything.
Moving on… YAY to ugly yet comfy leisurely living room chairs!! X3
