A little bit of author background here.

Some of you might know the organization "Up With People". It's mission is to inspire communities to do their best and care for eachother by affecting one person at a time. This way, a snowball of love and respect will grow.

I used to be part of this program for a while. So whenever I say "Change the world", it has more layers of meaning for me. A lot of people are sceptic towards the concept in general though, or are just not openminded enough.

I take pride in the fact that I 'changed the world' for a while. I made amazing friends around the world and still feel grateful whenever someone comes up to me and tells me I made their day a little brighter.

This page, however, is not about all that.

Also, UWP is in no way related to this comic.
