De Beers Diamonds is one of the largest war profiteers in the world. The new "Kimberly Process" that was made to stop conflict diamonds from going onto the open market. The papers are filled out by governments to show where the diamonds came from. All the while De Beers has been fighting this process saying "it hurt countries economys in Africa". This is coming from a Company who fueled the RUF rebel group in Serria Leone, the same group who killed 700,000+ innocent people in a long civil war. Recently they have started buying diamonds from Congo, a country not part of the Kimberly Process.
Other things De Beers have been brought to court by the US because they were accused to have been plotting to hold out diamonds to make them worth more on the market.
