The US government is highly critical of any government it thinks is "un-democratic". Hell it even invaded one. But instead of blocking off relations and trade with of the most authoritarian governments it sells it weapons! Saudi Arabia is always on the bottom of the world's lists when it comes to freedoms and human rights, but the US keeps being best friends with it, totally ignoring the fact that 9 of the hijackers from the 9/11 attacks came from the same country.
