The title comes from a Chris Rock joke.

But a bill recognizing the Armenian genocide for what it is- genocide- was just passed in the US. This pissed off the Turkish government which says the genocide never happened.

April 24th is Armenian genocide remembrence day, for on that day in 1915 the Ottoman Turks started massacreing Armenians wholesale in the first genocide of the 20th century, and laid the ground work for Hitlers plans years later. By the time it was over 1.5 million Armenians were dead, millions more were refugees, and created what is now the most dispersed people in the world.

The reason I picked the above title is because while the Armenian people of the world finally have something to be happy about, its not much. The Armenian homeland is still rife with poverty and unemployment, and her people flee elsewhere.
