For some reason I'm fascinated by the idea of intersex people being shamans, their belonging to both genders making them divine and thus predestined to communicate with the gods.

@fallopiancrusader: Naja, das ist eine erfundene Geschichte in meiner eigenen Fantasywelt, stilistisch angelehnt an Volkserzählungen. Es gibt in den Originalquellen, die ich ja bevorzuge, tatsächlich sehr deftige Geschichten. Man erkennt sie daran, dass Teile der Übersetzung auf Latein sind, damit der gemeine Pöbel die anzüglichen Teile nicht versteht. Und sicherheitshalber die Übersetzung/The translation, just to be sure: well, this is a made-up story in my own fantasy world, stilistically following folk texts. But in the original sources I'm prefering there are indeed very raunchy stories. You can identify them by parts of the translation being in Latin, so that the common rabble can't read the saucy parts.
