When I visited a friend in Amsterdam last summer, I met an interesting girl and we almost had sex. She wanted to, but she couldn't, because she had been raped. It was a very intense night. We stayed in touch, chatted and skyped, until both of us messed it up, because we're both messed up. That was the end of that.
When later while working I delivered parcel and registered mail to a woman with tattoos and piercings, I surprised myself by finding her attractive. Thus I took this setting and filled it with my experiences in Amsterdam, and this got me closure for the Amsterdam girl. Drawing comics is of therapeutical benefit for me.
