Extra - Magicians and Machines

Updates Monday and Thursday

I only have the first pages of Magicians and Machines and The Misfits, so I'm not sure how much longer I'll be posting extras. My mother has also informed me that she thinks all of my old school stuff was thrown out (even though neither of us throw anything away), so it may be that no new material will be forthcoming. We'll see.. I'll be hitting her attic soon.

The colors were all done by me. It was a photocopy, not the original, that I colored. I actually think I did a pretty good job, especially for a 10 year old. I always was pretty good at coloring. You should have seen my Easter eggs.

If you can't read the narrative blurb, it is: "It was the year 2589, a time of magic and technology. Magicians lived in fear of machines, which were lead by the evil Cyborg. The Cyborg's main goal is to conquer all human life whether it's mortal man or magician. The Cyborg face three obstacles – a trio of rebellious teenage boys…"

This was probably inspired by the Terminator, even though I wasn't old enough to see it. I wish I had the other two pages, because they were cool. The second page has one magician throwing the other a piece of chalk. The other one, I think it was Rex, uses the chalk to draw a door on a brick wall, then uses his mojo to make a portal into their secret hideout for an escape. Hey, I was 10.

Next Saturday is the Misfits preview, even if we don't actually get to see them on the first page.
