PMOG
crifmer onBIG EDIT:
So here's the scoop.. the "updating haphazardly" turned into "brief hiatus." The good news is that Posted will be back on Wednesday, May 21st, and will hopefully keep to a once-a-week schedule updating on Wednesdays. I've got three done and uploaded, so I can say for sure that the next three weeks will have content. Here's hoping I can come out of my dry spell and pick it up again. See you on Wednesday.
A friend of mine turned me on to PMOG - the Passively Multiplayer Online Game the other day. It's pretty neat… you download an extension for Firefox and then all of a sudden you have this neat layer on top of the internet where you can lay mines, drop portals to set a chain of lampposts to relate a series of previously unrelated web sites. Really, just go and check the site out to see what it's all about. It's hard to just explain. If you want an invite, PQ me your email address, and I'll send you one.
I'd like to use PMOG to enhance my comic somehow - or maybe do a PMOG-enhanced comic. Maybe use the comic as a springboard for a series of missions (those chains of lampposts I referenced earlier). It's something to think about.
I ordered a copic multiliner SP brush tip pen today because my inking pens are just about run out. I may have to buy others just for the interim because I don't want to go back to ballpoint, and the new pen of awesomness won't get here for a couple weeks. The Copic, by the way, was recommended by Nate Piekos of Atland and Blambot fame. Not to me personally, mind you.. he swears by that pen. No, literally.. he uses it to gesticulate when he swears. It's awesome. (I'm just kidding, Nate.)
Anyway, clicky the linky and share in the wonders I've seen.
