Yes, Berg tends to grow and get colder when he's angry.
.. and he's ALWAYS angry!
Nobody's seen Berg un-frozen since around 6th grade.

And, Eddie tends to generate his clones in a close radius, but, when necessary, he can project or absorb himself from a radius of about 15 or 18 feet maximum.

also, just so ya know, the "zzzzip" of reabsorption and the "zhoop" of generation is only audible to the reader.
if this were a cartoon, that's what they'd sound like.
