Peaches has everything going for her. But, there are times when it's not enough. She feels unappreciated. She gives her all, and, in the end, almost no one ever pays much attention. Except of course, for one guy… Eddie Essex. Eddie's been hopelessly infatuated with Peaches since the first moment he laid eyes on her back in 7th grade. Peaches, of course, being the smart girl she is, has an inkling that Eddie likes her. He never seems to work up the courage to ask her out, though. Oddly enough, she gets a little kick out of the cute way he stammers nervously when he's around her. Most boys are very transparent in where their interests lie, but Eddie is very respectful, and, though nervous sometimes to the point of cartoonishness, always looks her in the eye. He's a sweet guy, but she knows she can't wait for him to make the first move. Besides, Peaches dates older boys anyway. Older boys are more mature, right? …right?
