Victor Juarez was born looking the way he does. His family moved from place to place, trying to make things as easy for him as they could. the youngest of 4 siblings, his 2 older brothers, Gil and Rudy only manifested small metahuman/reptillian traits. His sister, Marisol came out completely normal (oddly enough, she WISHES she was "a freak"). Victor got the biggest dose of reptile since his maternal great-grandfather, Carlos, who, at the age of 102, is almost completely saurian, and rather senile.
"Doc", as his family calls him, takes it all in stride, and keeps a surprisingly good sense of humor about him. An intelligent boy, he someday hopes to become a doctor of metahuman biology, to help folks like himself.
His family moved to Seaport City with the express purpose of enrolling him into Wendigo High, where he would be less likely to be considered a 'freak'. From the first day, he has become a fast friend of Eddie Essex and company. he even found himself a girlfriend.
