yay…some actual notes about this page!!

so…this is a scan from the original 2nd issue……but i changed a couple things here. for good reason:

in the original, Rudy's face was just a black mass with the eyes being the only expressive thing about it. at the time, it was thought to be necessary….but times have changed. he true identity has been revealed, so no need for covering my tracks.—so what i did was just redraw a new head for every panel that he is featured in. i went and matched the style of the original art a bit, so it all kind of flows together.

also in the original….all of the dialogue in this scene was part of a joke that TOTALLY missed its mark. the basic premise of the joke was poking fun at comics, cartoons, and movies (but mostly comics) where the hero and villian are fighting, but having this loooong winded drawn out conversation. it was pretty funny to me……y'know, how a character could have this long exposition in the middle of an uppercut or whatever.—needless to say, the joke bombed and was not funny, so, i basically just changed the dialogue here. made it more in context with what is actually happening.
