okay…..so the story of this….

so, this is from an anti-drug contest i entered when i was a junior in high school.

i entered this contest under pressure from my art teacher, and i was inspired by an upperclassman i didn't really like. the character design for the "anti-drug" hero is what very shortly there-after became the character design for "jeff"(the design that is now used, the original designs as you've seen in the "old page comparisons" were very rough. the final "jeff" design is just with the mullet flowing in one direction instead of majestically all over the place.

i've included the three pages from it for character relevance. file this under "bonus material". "rudy" is, of course the drug dealer…..and soon to be revealed is what became the chubby "powerjeff's" visual representation.
