i'm glad that my more dynamic approach to this fight is creating suspense. that's exactly what i wanted it to do. for you to shake your fists at the screen for me only giving you small scenes of the action as it unfolds slowly. this would be the slow motion fight scene, as it were.

that said, here is a bit of a montage sequence of jeff and haysoose beating on jer. if i hadn't opted for the silence of these last pages…i woulda put in punching and kicking sound effects for every panel except the last one. just to get the point across.
