so, when i originally drew this page back then, it came out pretty bad. so i whited out the parts i didn't like and redrew it a second time and put it up….but i still thought it looked awful.

so i went back and redrew this page. i'm like 75% happy with how it turned out….i just couldn't get the original idea for the layout out of my brain. and seeing as how this would be the third time i attempted to draw a page. this one wins by default.
