Ok… I’m pretty satisfied with how that worked out. I planed it out for eight panels but went through about three different endings for it. For a while I debated stretching the arc for another page but nah, this works.
You might have notice the Caleb character looks different from his debut. He was originally just going to be an evil version of Feever, with a vaguely demonic appearance. Turns out Feever wouldn’t be able to hold up the “good†half of a good/evil dichotomy, despite being a more sympathetic character. So I made an artistic decision to make the Caleb character more three dimensional… and cartoony
Next 3 updates are going to be a bit… unusual, even for Prelude. It was an idea I had a while ago. It’s a three page arc in which I interpret a Shakespeare sonnet via my webcomic. I’ll post the full sonnet in the comment box tomorrow so you can judge for yourselves if I was successful, but keep in mind it’ll take three days to wrap up.
It’ll be fun
And a big thanks for all the input on my coffee situation. You might be interested to know I’m working out a system to cut back based on some of the suggestions.
Breakfast: Tea (‘cause I need to thaw my organs when I wake up in the frozen wasteland that is Wisconsin)
Lunch: Coffee (so I don’t go insane)
Supper: Jolt (I tried it and love it. Fully recommend it)
Hopefully that’ll ease me off of my eight-grande’-cups-a-day addiction :)
