Another reference in the trio of friends is their names, which again no one seemed to catch before, and this page is a sly reference to it. Jay is short for Jason, Rick is short for Frederick (not Richard, as he clarifies in an early page), and Mikey is, of course, short for Michael. You can see in Mikey's ID in an earlier page, though, that his last name is actually "Kreuger", because just to keep things interesting I shifted the last names around. So you have Michael Kreuger, Jason Meyers, and Rick Voorhees. I did a similar gag in Elijah and Azuu with the Jay and Silent Bob characters, who were named "Jason Smith" and "Kevin Mewes".
