Using stolen experimental technology from Silph Co, the C-1 Pokeresonator sends out a high pitch frequency to attract Pokemon of the operators choosing. Once the Pokemon is in range, it captures the Pokemon without the need to weaken them. This is made possible due to the high pitch frequency causing an alteration in the subject's hormone levels. This causes relaxation and sleepiness which makes the subject easier to catch. Silph Co have not implemented this technology in standard Pokeballs due to the high energy consumption and potential harm that may be caused to the Pokemon exposed to the special frequency.
