No no no, Alana didn't gain any powers this time.
This is the whole "let's turn this place back to the way it was before the freaking battle" thing that a ton of magical girl series overlook. Alana isn't strong enough to do it by herself - therefore Tiara helps her. I think I'll explain this in the next chapter too.
