This is just some art I did for a game I'm working on (and by "working" I mean playing with my friends). I actually really liked how it turned out. I was gonna' color the guy in, but I decided, after the paint, not to.
Though, I'd like to state that I didn't think I was going to use oil paints until I realized I couldn't get the right waterfall effect with crayons or pencils.
Sadly, with an un-gesso'ed canvass linseed oil seeped into the right side of the "Dude on throne" which is drawn in regular lead pencil.
And the carpet is crayon, because I think it gives it a good carpet-y texture.
Just a bit o' BG on this - in the game I'm doing Gailin (who, in all fantasy related stories I write is my main character) has been appointed king after a coup - he deserted the army, and later, after removing the first king from the throne, went back to th front and ended the war that was going on at the time. He never intended to be king, and hates the title and position. Due to some factors in the game, he has lost his spark of life… his will, whatever you want to call it, and has fallen into the duldroms and the "I don't cares"
