I think the point of this is to show that Annie uses her head to solve problems, where someone else might have just jumped around wildly.  She noticed an error in the light pattern and exploited it.
Originally, the second to last panel would have been her kind of tumbling into the corner, but I decided that I wasn't sure how agile she could be wearing a suit she once said might weigh as much as the rest of her.
